Can I use Pro Tools on my iPhone or iPad with Apperture?

Yes — by streaming Pro Tools from your Mac with Apperture. The desktop app runs on your Mac; your iPhone or iPad displays its window and sends remote input back. You need a reachable, awake Mac with Pro Tools installed, the free Apperture Mac host, and the Apperture app on your iPhone or iPad.

Pro Tools and its audio hardware remain on the Mac. Remote viewing is useful for visual review; latency-critical recording and critical listening need your usual studio setup. Pro Tools product information.
