Apperture (“the App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Mac app and the iOS viewer.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
2. How the App Works
Apperture pairs a Mac app and an iOS viewer so you can see and control your Mac from your iPhone or iPad. The screen contents and input events exchanged between the two apps are transmitted directly between your devices. This information is never transmitted to our servers — we do not operate servers that store your data.
3. Permissions on macOS
To function, the Mac app requests permissions such as Screen Recording (to share what is on your Mac) and Accessibility / Input Monitoring (to relay input from the iOS viewer back to your Mac). These permissions are used only while Apperture is running and are managed by macOS. We do not capture, persist, or transmit this data to any third party.
4. Children’s Privacy
Because we do not collect personal information, the App is suitable for users of all ages, including children under 13, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and provide the new version on our website or App Store listing.
